Creamy Corn Pork

This meal on a budget maybe just the ticket to take the pressure off the family budget.

Time: About 20 mins  Serving:4 people

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams lean pork (pork chop or mince)
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 can corn kernels (drained)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Marinade seasoning

  • 2 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp chicken stock powder
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • 1 tsp soy sauce

Method:

  1. Dice pork chop into 1cm x 2cm cubes, or add pork mince directly into a bowl
  2. Combine marinade seasoning, pour over pork and let sit for a minimum of 10 minutes
  3. Heat up the fry pan with olive oil on medium heat
  4. Add pork and fry until turn golden
  5. Add corn kernels and fry for a further 5 minutes
  6. Add creamed corn
  7. Add 150mL of water
  8. Mixed well until boiled
  9. Ready to serve.

Tips:

  • This dish is ideal to serve with a rice.
  • You can add grated carrot or your favorite vegetables.
