Rattle Ya Bones Day ☠

31 October

Get informed. Get supported.

Rattle Ya Bones Day is a National Day of Awareness for all muscle, bone and joint conditions. It’s held every year on October 31 🎃 🦇👻

A better understanding of muscle, bone and joint conditions starts with awareness.

With one in three Australians living with a muscle, bone or joint condition like arthritis, back pain, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia  (and over 150 other musculoskeletal conditions), chances are they impact you or someone you know.

There are often few visible signs of the pain and suffering caused by these conditions. Most people are unaware of the enormous impact they can have – that’s why Rattle Ya Bones Day was created.

This year’s message is “Get informed and Get supported”.

Learn more about conditions like arthritis, back pain and others, to help you and those you love live well.

How you can get involved

It’s time to join forces and make a positive impact on Rattle Ya Bones Day. Our mission is simple: spread awareness and create meaningful change for those affected by arthritis, osteoporosis, back pain and other muscle, bone, and joint conditions. So, grab your enthusiasm and get ready to take action with these essential steps. Together, we can make a difference!

Raise awareness: Utilise your voice and social media platforms to educate others about muscle, bone, and joint conditions. Share informative articles, personal stories, and valuable resources using the hashtag #RattleYaBones. Help others understand the challenges faced by people and promote a culture of empathy and understanding.

Personal stories matter: Share your own experiences or stories of those close to you who have dealt with muscle, bone, or joint conditions. By sharing these stories, we humanise the struggles, break down barriers, and encourage a supportive environment where people can connect and empathise with one another.

Community engagement: Organise an information session or screen one of our webinars in your neighbourhood, workplace, or school. Consider collaborating with your local pharmacist, local healthcare provider or clinic to create opportunities for people to learn, ask questions, and gain practical knowledge about muscle, bone, and joint health.

Sharing resources: Share valuable resources, such as fact sheets or online guides that provide information about various muscle, bone, and joint conditions. Resources are easily accessible on our website.

Support our work: Please donate today. Your support plays a crucial role in enabling us to provide free resources aimed at improving the quality of life for people impacted by muscle, bone, and joint conditions. By donating, you become an agent of change, ensuring that those facing these challenges receive the support and resources they deserve. Together, we can make a lasting impact and create a brighter future for everyone affected by muscle, bone, and joint conditions.

Together, we can raise awareness, share information, and foster a more compassionate and informed society regarding muscle, bone, and joint conditions. Join us on Rattle Ya Bones Day 31 October as we strive to make a positive impact and create a place where everyone has access to the support and resources they need.
